It’s National Doughnut Day!!!!!!!

…which makes it the perfect day to contemplate the proper spelling of this iconic ring-shaped chunk of sweet-fried American culture. Doughnut or donut? That is the question.

Next begs the question, How does one, who is NOT a grammar and spelling nerd – a.k.a NORMAL – celebrate National Doughnut Day? Answer: By eating doughnuts! (Of course.)
